HYROX Training

What is HYROX Training?

Hyrox is a fitness competition format that combines endurance and functional strength in a standardised course. It is aimed at athletically active people of all levels and offers a challenging but well-structured event.

A Hyrox workout is specifically designed to optimally prepare participants for competition by promoting endurance as well as strength endurance and functional fitness. The training combines classic endurance training - especially running - with functional exercises that are part of the Hyrox competition structure. The aim is not only to master each individual exercise technically, but also to train the combination of running and power stations under fatigue.

The training emphasises technique, strength endurance, efficient running technique and the right pacing to make the transition between running and strength exercises as smooth as possible. Workouts in which two or more stations are combined are also common in order to simulate the interplay between high pulse load and muscular exhaustion.
